The Tools God Has Uniquely Given To You For His Kingdom Purpose.

Taking your Assessment...

As part of The Genesis Course, participants are encouraged to complete a Personality Assessment and a Spiritual Gifts Assessment leading into Session 3: Discover Your Design. These tools provide powerful insights that help you better understand yourself and the unique ways God has equipped you for discipleship and service in the body of Christ.

The Personality Assessment explores your natural temperament, strengths, communication style, and how you relate to others. It reveals patterns in how you think, feel, and act—whether you’re more outgoing or reflective, task-oriented or people-focused. This self-awareness fosters personal growth, improves relationships within the church family, and helps you navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence in God’s design for you (Psalm 139:14).

The Spiritual Gifts Assessment identifies the supernatural abilities the Holy Spirit imparts to every believer for building up the church (1 Corinthians 12:4-7). Common gifts may include helps, teaching, faith, healing, words of wisdom/knowledge, discernment, serving, leadership, evangelism, and others from biblical lists (Romans 12, 1 Corinthians 12, Ephesians 4). The assessment helps pinpoint your primary gifts—perhaps a motivational gift like mercy or exhortation, or a manifestation gift like tongues/interpretation in worship settings.

Together, these results become a roadmap for discipleship. Knowing your personality helps you steward your gifts effectively—avoiding burnout by aligning service with your wiring, while maximizing impact in areas where you naturally thrive. Understanding your spiritual gifts affirms that God has purposefully equipped you to contribute to His kingdom work, whether through prayer, outreach, teaching, hospitality, or supernatural ministry.

These discoveries empower you to take intentional next steps: pursuing deeper relationship with Jesus, finding your place in the church team, and living as a fruitful disciple. The assessments aren’t about labeling but celebrating God’s intentional creation in you. As you reflect on the results in Session 3, you’ll gain clarity, excitement, and direction—equipped to “Join The Team” in Session 4 with renewed purpose.

Embrace this process prayerfully. God delights in revealing how He’s fashioned you for His glory and the good of His people. Your gifts matter, and using them faithfully draws you closer to Christ while blessing Apostolic Life Church.
